        Education and present position: 2 master degrees in Environmental Sciences (New Jersey institute of technology - USA) and Waste management (INSA de Lyon - FRANCE), Thierry PONCET has been working 27 years for the leather industry. He is CTC’s manager of the Industrial Expertise and Sustainable Development Division which proposes consultancy, training, R&D and expertise to the leather industries including tanneries, footwear and leathergood manufactures.


He is also

Chairman of the AFICTIC, the French Leather Chemists and Technicians Association.

Former   chairman of the IULTCS IUE – Environmental Commission for the IULTCS.

former chairman of the French Committee dedicated to the Environmental Labeling of footwear and leathergoods.
